We are a national, nonprofit, technical society of engineers, geoscientists, architects, planners, and public officials. Our goals include:
● Advancing earthquake engineering
● Improving understanding of the impacts of earthquakes
Currently, we are preparing for the 2021 Virtual Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition (SDC) sponsored by EERI where we will be designing a cost-effective frame building to resist seismic loading.
If you're interested in:
● Learning about earthquake engineering and performing basic seismic design
● Gaining hands-on team project design experience and implementing engineering economics principles
● Competing and networking with teams from all across the globe
